The Product Manager owns what the product must deliver, its adoption, and value outcomes; the Business SME owns policy interpretation, business rules, and operational acceptance, and the AI Engineering Lead owns the technical approach.
How you will contribute:

• Develop a deep understanding of underwriter, broker, servicing, and operational workflows through observation, interviews, data analysis, and regular feedback, experimentation, and identify the highest value opportunities for automation, decision support, and product improvements
• Translate business objectives, policy requirements, process steps, exceptions, and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized increments, in partnership with the Business SME and the delivery team.
• Lead day to day three in a box decision making with the Business SME and the AI Engineering Lead, resolving scope, policy, user experience, risk, cost, and technical tradeoffs as the product is designed and built.
• Define baselines and track product outcomes such as adoption, cycle time reduction, user effort, decision quality, exception rates, rework, user satisfaction, operational risk, and unit cost, and use the evidence to guide investment and backlog choices.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery across design, engineering, data, quality, security, risk, UAT, release, training, communications, and operational readiness, keeping dependencies visible and decisions timely, and represent squad demand.
• Plan and lead user validation, pilots, parallel runs, rollout, and change adoption, ensuring users understand how to interpret AI outputs, when to exercise judgment, and how to provide feedback or escalate exceptions.
• Use production telemetry, evaluation results, user feedback, incidents, and operational data to continuously improve the workflow, and contribute reusable product patterns and lessons learned to the broader AI Factory.
• Use measurable business outcomes, strategic alignment, customer impact, operational performance, and delivery capacity to inform portfolio prioritization and future product investment decisions
The experience you need:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, information systems, design or related discipline.
• 6 plus years of progressive product management, digital product delivery, business transformation, or related experience, including ownership of complex workflow products from discovery through production adoption.
• Demonstrated ability to translate operational workflows, policy requirements, and user needs into clear product roadmaps, requirements, acceptance criteria, and sequenced delivery plans.
• Experience working with cross functional teams spanning business, design, software engineering, data, quality, security, risk, compliance, and operations in agile or iterative delivery environments.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using product, process, quality, adoption, and financial data to prioritize work, measure outcomes, and communicate value.
• Practical understanding of AI enabled products, including probabilistic outputs, human in the loop controls, evaluation, guardrails, monitoring, and the tradeoffs between automation, user judgment, risk, cost, and experience.
• Strong stakeholder leadership, facilitation, written communication, and change management skills, with the ability to make decisions and maintain momentum when requirements or evidence are incomplete.
• Experience in financial services, mortgage lending, lending operations, servicing, broker channels, third party partnerships, or regulated technology environments is preferred.
• Experience using AI-assisted product management tools for analysis, requirements development, prioritization, or customer insight is an asset.
