Job Description

The Product Manager analyzes the total addressable market and competitive conditions and lays out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers value based on customer demands and market drivers. Builds awareness and understanding while representing the company's vision externally to our customers by attending conferences, customer visits, and facilitating customer engagement sessions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive the effort to set strategy, roadmap, and feature definition by defining the why, when, and what of the product line
  • Own the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas
  • Translate product strategy into high level requirements and prototypes
  • Drive the effort to determine which ideas should be promoted into features to push the product strategy forward, namely those that will achieve key objectives for the product line and business including financial and positioning objectives
  • Propose an overall budget for development efforts and monitor to remain within budget requirements
  • Clearly define what the teams will deliver and the timeline for implementation
  • Contribute to and approve the product-related requirements using Agile methodology
  • Analyze potential partner relationships for the product
  • Contribute to setting prices on products in the product line to meet revenue and profitability goals and track return on investment to ensure success
  • Clearly articulate the business value to the cross-functional team so they understand the intent behind the new product or feature release
  • Evaluate sales campaigns to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Assist the Product Owner in managing the Agile team’s User Stories and release milestones
  • Communicate the release progress and the company-wide go-to-market plan to all stakeholders
  • Available for minimal travel as needed

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Overall 6+ years of experience in software/product development
  • Maintain a constant focus on solving user problems in the best way possible
  • Conceptual product thinker that can connect strategy with execution
  • Understand the steps to launch a software release or application
  • Ability to influence cross-functional team without formal authority
  • Excellent time management, resource organization and priority establishment skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with diplomacy and tact while managing a large group of stakeholders, including when responding to resistance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry knowledge
  • Master's degree in business or related field
  • Two years of prior software development experience as a Product Manager in an agile setting
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging Generative AI tools to automate tasks and extract actionable insights
