We're looking for experienced Product Managers to join our Product Management & Governance team, where you'll play a critical role supporting the performance, governance and continuous improvement of our Home Lending products.

What's the role?

As a Product Manager, you'll help shape, maintain and improve Westpac's mortgage product portfolio. You'll work across product governance, regulatory obligations, customer outcomes, operational effectiveness and risk management to ensure our products continue to deliver value for both customers and the business.

You'll play a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting product initiatives, managing risk and ensuring regulatory requirements are met while helping drive positive customer experiences.

How will I help?

Depending on the role, you will:

  • Support the management and governance of Westpac's mortgage product portfolio
  • Lead or contribute to product reviews, governance forums and regulatory obligations
  • Analyse product performance, customer outcomes and emerging risks
  • Drive remediation activities and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Technology and Operations teams to deliver product enhancements
  • Support system changes, incidents, issue resolution and customer outcomes
  • Manage regulatory communications, reporting and governance requirements
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of key business and customer initiatives

What do I need?

  • Product Management experience within Banking, Financial Services or a heavily regulated industry
  • Strong understanding of risk, governance and compliance frameworks
  • Ability to analyse data and identify product improvement opportunities
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups to deliver outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and influencing skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering positive outcomes
  • Experience within Home Lending, Mortgages or Consumer Banking highly regarded
