About Your New Role

As Product Manager – Škoda, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development, specification, and pricing of Škoda vehicles. From initial proposal through to successful market delivery across press, dealerships, and marketing channels, you will ensure all product information is accurate, consistent, and well-communicated across both internal and external platforms.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Develop and maintain product strategy to ensure alignment with Škoda brand positioning and market expectations.
  • Monitor automotive market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to inform product decisions and lifecycle planning.
  • Lead model lifecycle planning, including new model introductions, updates, and limited-edition variants.
  • Manage pricing strategy, including preparation of pricing submissions, system updates, and approval processes.
  • Ensure all product specifications meet local regulatory requirements (ADR, homologation, ANCAP).
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency of product information across all internal and external platforms, including dealer communications, websites, and configurators.
  • Act as the internal product specialist, supporting cross-functional teams with product knowledge, training, and documentation.
  • Lead “Take to Market” activities, coordinating launches and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned to timelines and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Sales Planning, Marketing, and PR to drive effective product positioning and communication strategies.
  • Represent Škoda at media events and product launches, delivering presentations and supporting press engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with factory counterparts and internal stakeholders across the business.

About You:

  • Extensive automotive industry experience (7+ years), with strong knowledge of market dynamics and technical product requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence and manage relationships across a wide range of stakeholders (internal teams, dealers, agencies, media, and customers)
  • Solid understanding of the regulatory environment, including vehicle compliance, registration, and advertising standards
  • Strong negotiation capabilities, with the confidence to drive outcomes to achieve business outcomes
  • Practical and solutions-focused problem-solving ability
  • Experience in developing and delivering product training programs
  • High attention to detail with strong time management and organisational capability
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience using Volkswagen Group systems (e.g. Nadcon, Spider, MBV) is highly desirable
