As a Product Manager with strong technical background, you will be responsible for seeking out and identifying new business opportunities within the OEM markets for China that are in line with Molex goals and long-term plan, and to help to convert these opportunities into successful wins for the organization. We are looking for those that share our passion in providing innovative solutions to the market to solve our customers complex challenge paired with strong technical expertise and business acumen.

Work in close coordination with Global Product Management team, to develop sound point of views on technology, product, customers, competitors and market trends, to define and execute the product development and strategies of Vehicle Antenna Systems within China automotive industry. Drive continuous improvement in projects development and advanced products development. Deeply work with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and sales to provide customer specific solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Our Team

CMS-VAS Product Management is in Shanghai with our plant, projection management and development organization.

What You Will Do

• Prospecting, vetting, and qualifying new business opportunities within China automotive market.
• Promotion and development of our Vehicle Antenna Systems product portfolio for the China market.

Ø Leading the product lifecycle and portfolio management activities for Vehicle Antenna Systems in China market according to Molex process.

• Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Project management, R&D Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, etc.) to ensure RFIs and RFQs are executed and delivered on time to meet or better exceed customer expectations.
• Driving the program teams to achieve the technical, budget, and schedule objectives of projects.
• Collaborate closely with our manufacturing partners in Asia, Europe and North America to deliver solutions to our diverse international automotive OEMs.
• Coordinate global and reginal resource for projects deployment successfully and flawlessly.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor´s /master’s degree in engineering or equivalent work-related experience.
• 10+ years of proven industry experience in engineering or technical business development for automotive electronic solutions; experience as a Tier 1 preferred.
• Highly technical aptitude and knowledge of electronics or mechanical.
• Working experience in a global, diversity and multiple groups.
• Ability to travel to coordinate global and regional projects deployment.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
