Product Manager – Low Power Interconnect


Molex Power and Signal Business Unit is looking for an enterprising Global Product Manager who is driven to build long‑term product growth. The ideal candidate is energized by partnering with customers, sales, marketing, operations, and engineering teams around the globe to drive a strategic vision. This role will market and promote a well‑established low‑power interconnect product portfolio in alignment with Molex’s overall mission, strategy, and goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans targeting appliance, HVAC, commercial, industrial, automotive, and other strategic industries, identifying product line trends and emerging technologies to guide long‑term product planning.
  • Partner with operations to manage capacity planning and capital investments that support forecasted demand, while supporting tactical manufacturing and supply chain initiatives as needed.
  • Enable sales teams and distribution partners to increase revenue and market share of assigned product lines in support of Divisional and Global objectives.
  • Lead and influence cross‑functional, global teams to achieve business objectives and meet timelines.
  • Maximize product profitability through pricing strategy, support of key customer negotiations, and approval of pricing requests as needed.
  • Improve profit margins by leading cost reduction initiatives, manufacturing strategy optimization, and quality improvements.
  • Develop promotional tools, product collateral, and sales enablement materials to drive customer adoption.
  • Lead new product development initiatives to extend and grow the life cycle of assigned product lines.
  • Identify and develop strategic industry partner relationships.

Who You Are:

  • Experience working in the electronics industry
  • Experience in product management, program management, project management, engineering, and/or sales
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners, positively influence others, and navigate ambiguity
  • Comfortable presenting and promoting products to customers and distributors
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and profitability
  • Uses business metrics and data to evaluate product success
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and able to prioritize effectively in a global, matrixed environment
  • Willing and able to travel globally to Molex sites, customers, and distributors as business needs require

  • Experience in the connector industry
  • International business experience with customers and manufacturing locations
  • Experience in appliance, commercial electronics, automotive, and/or data center markets
