What you will do

  • Manage L2/L3 supportteam for USMonitoringTeamhandling CMC life-safety services

  • Maintain and maximize uptime (>99.999%) for all life-safetyenvironment

  • Develop and engineer internal improvements and achieveand maintainhigh customer satisfaction

How you will do it

  • Manage a teamoftechnical engineers

  • Managerapid-response on-call services

  • Ensure system uptime and availability

  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support forNorth AmericanMonitoringservices

  • Manage new software updates and enhancements (patch/upgrades)

  • Manageapplicationsupportfor internal/externaltechnical teams and the business

  • Managebuilds andexpansion ofCMChardware/equipment

  • Overseeexcellentcommunicationfortrouble resolution

  • Document product build/change

  • Partner with business on future business needs, strategy, planning, and NPI

  • Document and solution enhancement requests (liaison to supplier)

  • Apply years of experience and best practices to maintainCMC life-safety servicesat a subject matter expert level

  • Overseedevelopment and execution of strategic plans as ateam leader

What we look for

Required

  • US Citizen

  • Management experience leading atechnical team

  • Deep knowledge and several years of experience withMASterMind Monitoring, and/or other industry specific monitoringsystems

  • Demonstrable knowledge of MS-SQL server andT-SQL.

  • Deep knowledge and several years of experience with IT systems and concepts (network, hosting, storage, scripting)

  • Understanding of cyber security tools and controls: EDR,SIEMs,host-based firewalls, anti-virus, etc.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

  • Superior problem assessment and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical topics to vendors, team members and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work as part of a team and to interface with other teams as needed

  • Strong service attitude and a commitment to quality

  • 5-7 years of experience in the design, deployment and maintenance of complexsignal processingenvironments

  • Ability to work on-call weekly rotations

Preferred

  • Four (4) year degree of equivalent

  • Certifications for relevant technologies (CCNA, MCSE, etc.)

  • Strong Microsoft product skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, MSSQL Studio, etc.)

HIRING SALARY RANGE $100,000-120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
