Help Shape the Future of Assessment

Every year, millions of learners complete assessments powered by Learnosity.

As a Product Manager in our Assessment domain, you'll help shape the products, APIs, and experiences that sit at the heart of our platform. You'll balance innovation with reliability while working on one of the most widely used assessment ecosystems in education technology.

You'll work with engineers, designers, customer-facing teams, and customers to solve complex product challenges, improve learner and developer experiences, and help define how AI-powered product development is transforming the way software is built.

Quick Facts

Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid – minimum 1 day per week in office)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Team: Build – Assessment

Reports to: VP Product

Working Pattern: Regular collaboration across Europe, and North America, including recurring out-of-hours meetings.

What You'll Achieve in Your First 12 Months

• Take ownership of key areas within Learnosity's Assessment product portfolio and develop a deep understanding of the platform.
• Deliver valuable new capabilities for learner and developer experiences while maintaining platform stability and reliability.
• Successfully balance customer requests, strategic initiatives, technical debt, bugs, and maintenance activities.
• Build strong customer feedback loops and use customer insights to influence product decisions and roadmap priorities.
• Partner closely with Engineering and Design teams to take features from discovery through delivery and release.
• Contribute to the adoption of AI-enabled product development practices across Product and Engineering teams.
• Build trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Sales.

A Typical Week Might Include

• Triaging and prioritising of reporting product issues
• Running discovery sessions to better understand customer needs and assessment challenges.
• Collaborating with Engineers and Designers to refine requirements and upcoming releases.
• Reviewing customer feedback, product analytics, and platform performance metrics.
• Prioritising new features, technical debt, maintenance work, and platform improvements.
• Demonstrating product enhancements to customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinating release plans and managing delivery risks.
• Using AI tools to accelerate product research, planning, analysis, and documentation.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Essential

• 3+ years' experience in Product Management or a similar product-focused role.
• Experience working with API products or developer-focused products.
• Experience maintaining mature software products operating at scale.
• Strong technical literacy and understanding of modern web applications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong product judgement and ability to balance customer, business, and technical priorities.
• AI literacy and enthusiasm for using AI to improve product development and decision-making.

Nice to Have

• Experience in EdTech or educational environments.
• Experience as an educator or working closely with learning and assessment products.
• Passion for accessibility and inclusive product design.
• Experience working within SaaS, platform, or developer-focused product environments.
