Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager to help drive the next phase of Microsoft Marketplace as a world‑class, global commerce platform for cloud solutions, AI apps, and agents. In this role, you will own and advance critical parts of the marketplace experience, focusing on improving the end‑to‑end Find, Try, Buy, and Manage experience for customers, partners, and channel ecosystems.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of platform strategy, product execution, and business outcomes, translating Marketplace priorities into clear roadmaps, platform primitives, and measurable impact. You will work across multiple buying motions—including self‑serve, enterprise co‑sell, and channel‑led transactions—and help ensure Marketplace scales reliably as our catalog, partner ecosystem, and AI‑driven scenarios continue to grow. This is a high‑impact role with direct visibility to senior leadership and deep collaboration across engineering, design, strategy, operations finance, product groups, and with some of the largest software development companies on the planet.

The Product Manager will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who exemplifies creating clarity, generating energy, and delivering success for their team. We value those who have a thoughtful point of view, love to collaborate, and contribute to the success of others. They embrace AI to raise the bar for productivity on the team, feel empowered to take end-to-end ownership, and are comfortable connecting the dots between business, experience, and technology. If you love building products, positively influence the culture, and are willing to roll up your sleeves to solve fun high-impact challenges (with a strong engineering team on your side), then this is the right role for you!

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive key marketplace platform priorities, translating strategy into clear roadmaps, execution plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Lead cross‑functional efforts to improve partner and customer experiences, including APIs and user experiences
  • Partner closely with engineering to deliver secure, extensible, API‑first platform capabilities that scale across offer types and ecosystems
  • Use data, customer insights, and partner feedback to identify friction, prioritize investments, and drive continuous improvement
  • Aligning stakeholders on tradeoffs, dependencies, and progress against goals
  • Foster inclusive collaboration across teams and contribute to a culture of customer obsession, accountability, and learning

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, program management, or building large‑scale platform or commerce systems.
  • Experience driving complex, cross‑team initiatives from strategy through delivery.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects with empathy, operate inclusively, and build trust across diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working on platforms, marketplaces, APIs, or developer ecosystems.
  • Experience with systems thinking, with the ability to design capabilities that scale across products, customers, and geographies.
  • Experience using data, experimentation, and customer insights to drive prioritization and measure impact.
