Job Description

Who we are

We are a leader in mobile technology, providing innovative solutions to 1.2 billion consumers. In an ever-increasing digital world, we help businesses grow their digital reach & toolkits to optimize user experience, increase engagement, attract new customers, and boost their revenues.
Think of performance marketing but on steroids as our top-notch marketeers and engineers build digital journeys through an omnichannel marketing approach like no other. Currently, we work with the biggest names in Telco, Insurance, Education, FMCGs, and Retail in over 45 countries in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and South-East Asia.

About the role:

We are looking for a Product Manager to work closely with our teams and lead the strategy, development, and commercial growth of our Digital Services portfolio. In this role, you will own the product roadmap from concept to product development and commercial launch, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver innovative digital services to our global telco clients. You will also play a key role in identifying and developing strategic partnerships with content providers and technology partners, ensuring our portfolio remains competitive, scalable, and commercially successful.

You are a good fit for the role if you can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development, if you can take ownership and decide on an item’s prioritization, and if you strive to take the product vision towards completion while ensuring that Upstream will retain a consistently high level of quality in the product and customer experience. The role reports directly to the SVP of Product & Customer Experience and offers the opportunity to shape digital experiences used by millions of consumers globally.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Digital Services portfolio.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and product development to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Define and prioritize roadmap features and enhancements to increase user engagement across digital services.
  • Translate business needs, performance insights, and ideas into technically feasible products and features, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines.
  • Work closely with internal teams and technology partners to define feature requirements, product designs, and best-in-class user experiences for innovative digital services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with content providers and technology partners to strengthen the product portfolio and deliver premium digital services to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and act as the main point of contact for Digital Services partnerships.
  • Manage internal resources and external technology partners to ensure smooth product integrations and timely delivery.
  • Support the integration of new partnerships and services, ensuring successful project execution and optimal user experience.
  • Work closely with commercial and presales teams to support product adoption, revenue growth, and portfolio expansion.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of products and solutions and act as a subject matter expert for your product area
  • Advocate for and educate internal teams on new products, features and capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management and partner management
  • University degree, preferably in the fields of technology, business, or a related field
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
  • Experience managing relationships and negotiating with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including partners
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, hands-on
  • A team player who can also work independently
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • A unique blend of business and tech savvy
  • Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems

Will be considered a plus if you have:

  • Experience in Telco, Digital Subscriptions, Mobile Value-Added Services (VAS), or mobile ecosystems.

Benefits

We offer a competitive base salary and benefits, directly dependent on the candidate’s qualifications and skills. The real excitement comes from working closely with a dynamic, smart, agile, and highly motivated team in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
