Serve as a key contributor in driving the vision, product planning, management, go-to-market strategies, and operational support for enterprise products, all with a user-centric focus. Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable product features for design and development. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Corporate Marketing, IT, and other business units to ensure a consistent, reliable user experience across platforms. Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, craft user stories and acceptance criteria, and drive initiatives that deliver maximum business value, aligned with the product strategy.

This position is hybrid.

NYC Salary range: $105,468 - $125,168 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What you'll do

  • Envision, define, and drive the strategy, roadmap, and timeline for assigned product lines, delivering value to both users and business units.
  • Communicate product plans, benefits, and results clearly to a wide range of internal stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholder groups to identify, recommend, and prioritize product solutions that align with strategic business goals and metrics.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user and business needs, identify product gaps, and generate new ideas to enhance experiences and drive growth.
  • Serve as a hands-on product manager, leveraging data analysis and user research to ensure the right problems are identified and optimal solutions are delivered.
  • Translate product enhancements into detailed requirements and prototypes for testing, ensuring quick, time-to-market solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, business teams, and Corporate Marketing to design seamless user experiences and ensure product success.
  • Support the full product lifecycle, from research and discovery through experimentation and delivery.
  • Create and maintain essential product documentation, including product guides, release plans, and training materials.
  • Define and track success metrics, ensuring accurate measurement, and analyze performance of launched features to integrate learnings into the development process.
  • Act as the go-to resource for IT and business units on product features, issues, and priorities.
  • Use data to prioritize features that meet user and business needs, defining minimal viable product (MVP) releases.
  • Contribute to department and organization-wide initiatives, actively participating in relevant projects.
  • Proactively measure and analyze user and staff interactions with products and workflows to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to enhance standards, processes, and team practices.
  • Promote Agile product management practices, developing presentations, requirements, product backlogs, user stories, project plans, and use cases that cover all product release scenarios.
  • Develop transition plans and work with support teams and business units to ensure smooth handoffs during the transition process.
  • Execute activities as directed by cross-functional management, following established processes.
  • Drive product launches, collaborating across the business to develop and align go-to-market plans.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.

What we're seeking

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in software product management
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying web‑based products using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Expertise in writing user stories, product backlogs, and features
  • Expertise in breaking down enhancements into product backlog items
  • Hands‑on experience performing functional validation

What makes you stand out

  • Experience with CRM systems, workflow automation, and related technologies (plus)
  • Experience in Business Process Modeling and Process Improvement is a plus (plus)
