Job Description

National Debt Relief’s highly motivated, analytical, and passionate Product Manager role helps streamline the efforts of the product, development, and data science teams. This fast-paced role will be responsible for 1) building and maintaining a repository of "as-is" and “future state” system process documentation to help the company make informed decisions. 2) Recommending system improvements that can help improve operations.

Responsibilities

Essentiial Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of NDR customer’s journey from first touch to completion, and the underlying systems that support the journey by working closely with departmental stakeholders, reviewing API and build documentation (where it exists), and evaluating system inputs and outputs.
  • Own NDR’s process documentation function - work closely with the product team to build and maintain NDR system workflows for “current state” systems using business process modeling notation (BPMN).
  • Make business process improvement recommendations based on analysis of “current state” workflows.
  • Build future state workflows for each new software feature to be released.
  • Ensure that models are closely aligned with NDR system architecture as the models will be used a s a basis for code development to support the processes.
  • Fiercely compete and maintain a sense of urgency, creativity, and curiosity for how to continue to improve internal and customer facing processes.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with business stakeholders to collect requirements and prioritize work according to business need, level of effort, compliance requirements, and financial impact for the company.
  • Facilitate communications, training, and stakeholder demos for enhancements and new features.
  • Author Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and user stories including essential requirements, impact analysis, agreed-upon architecture analysis, and testing scenarios.
  • Be the main point of contact for engineering team members regarding requirements of work items and give final sign off on any items ready for review.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelors’ degree in a technical discipline (Physics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or similar) required.
  • 2 total years’ experience in Product Management, preferably in a highly agile environment, and/or documenting processes in a highly customized instance of Salesforce (or similar CRM) required.
  • Experience with a business process modeling tools (Visio, Draw.io, JBPM, Lucid, etc.) and familiarity with agile methodology preferred.

Requiired Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to work closely with IT peers and business/operational professionals to capture the details of various processes at a level that reflects the actual flow within the technical stack required.
  • Independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous, and often multi-directional work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Powerful communicator with the ability to engage and influence both technical audiences and senior leadership.
  • Strong desire to learn, contribute solutions and ideas to a broad team.

  • Available for full-time position, overtime eligible if classified non-exempt.

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $99,500 to $114,500 annually.
