Job Description

The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) sets the firm's data and AI strategic direction, delivers firmwide data and AI solutions, and establishes standards for the responsible, controlled adoption of platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.

As The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) organization sets the firm's data and AI strategic direction, delivers firmwide data/AI solutions and expertise, and sets standards for responsible and controlled adoption of Databricks and/or Snowflake. As a Vice President-Product Manager in the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) SaaS Data Infrastructure Team, you are an integral part of unveiling cutting-edge Data & AI/ML products across the entirety of JPMC, while leading the end-to-end product life cycle. As a product manager, you are responsible for revolutionizing how the product team stays organized and communicates. You are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer, while utilizing your deep understanding of our Data Products & AI/ML roadmap; you guide successful launches, champion crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Leads end-to-end delivery for platform capabilities, including prioritization, requirements definition, execution oversight, and release readiness
  • Partners closely with engineering teams to translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and key deliverables
  • Proactively identifies and manages dependencies, risks, and blockers; escalates with options and recommendations to maintain delivery timelines
  • Builds strong cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, and business teams to accelerate execution and adoption
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify key stakeholders, set project goals, and ensure accountability throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Understand the data/technology landscape across Financial Institutions and data management trends and challenges.
  • Define and support strategic initiatives for firmwide Databricks & Snowflake features.
  • Drive continuous improvement of operating models by identifying strategic opportunities to enhance planning processes, developing innovative tools and methodologies, and championing the adoption of best practices that increase organizational productivity and strategic agility.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
    • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
    • Demonstrated experience delivering data platform or analytics products in partnership with engineering teams
    • Hands-on experience working with Snowflake and Databricks platforms in an enterprise environment
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate priorities, and appropriately push back on scope/timeline trade-offs
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and execution discipline, including defining measurable outcomes and driving deliverables to completion
  • Ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams (engineering, product partners, and internal clients) in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies (GenAI, Agentic solutions) with a goal of learning how to drive strategic process innovation and operational excellence.

  • Must have experience with some of the following cloud computing platforms: Databricks, AWS, Snowflake, and Azure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Experience supporting internal clients within payments, credit card, or commercial banking domains
  • Experience owning roadmap prioritization and delivery for third-party platform capabilities and integrations (e.g., Snowflake/Databricks)
  • Familiarity with Agile/PI planning practices and managing dependencies across multiple engineering teams
  • Ability to define and track product success metrics and adoption measures for internal platforms
