Product Specialist work focuses on ensuring that products are meeting customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions, planning, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy for products/services and associated brand(s).

How you'll make an impact:

• Analysis of customer specifications for transmission to factories and preparation of offers to meet customer requirements

• Request for quotations in Hitachi Energy factories

• Negotiation with suppliers/factories (payment terms, delivery terms, prices, guarantees)

• Identifying potential risks in quotes

• Understanding commercial terms and conditions, Incoterms, etc.

• Find technical solutions which are responding to client needs

• Preparation of complete technical and commercial proposals using Hitachi Energy products and services, in an efficient and timely manner, depending on the requests for proposals, as well as tender/specification deadlines

• Use of internal processes for the generation of Bid Proposals, as well as the storage of all technical data and prices generated during the proposal process.

• Support in preparing the analysis of the won/lost orders

• Support in updating marketing and proposal databases, systems to optimize the efficiency of bid preparation processes

• Collaboration with Customer Support to coordinate orders to the factory

You're background:

• University degree in Energy/Power Engineering

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with High Voltage products

• Good knowledge of spoken and written Romanian and English

• Good communication skills and strong team spirit

• Oriented towards delivering high quality services and results

• Self-derived person, structured, with analytical thinking skills

• Seriousness and accountability
