We are looking for a Product Management Specialist to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Rebecca Stamps and is based in San Jose, CA, as a fully on-site, in-office role.

Bloom Energy is seeking a Product Management Specialist to lead cross-functional collaboration with our engineering and technology teams on product development, including product launch, promotion, documentation, training, and end-to-end product support for our global sales force and energy transition teams. This role will be central to accelerating Bloom’s growth, working across teams to ensure sales managers have the necessary resources to demonstrate the value of Bloom’s products and solutions to our customers. The successful candidate must possess the technical aptitude to understand and educate others about the product portfolio, which includes solid oxide fuel cells and electrolyzer cells, as well as adjacent applications such as microgrids, heat capture, and carbon capture technologies and solutions. The successful candidate must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and must be able to lead and execute multiple types of programs and collateral to educate the world about Bloom’s products and grow our market share. Attention to detail, technical accuracy, simplifying messaging, a willingness to learn, and a passion for the mission are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain product roadmaps and launch material for new and evolving products and solutions
  • Create, update, and maintain product-related collateral, including but not limited to case studies, videos, application guides, specifications, tools, product decks, and training materials.
  • Ability to become a domain expert with your engineering teams to field technical questions from sales and energy transitions teams
  • Serve as good stewards for Bloom's technical accuracy to external stakeholders, ensuring there is solid backup and business approval for external product information.
  • Incept, write, and edit various product marketing collateral, such as white papers, blogs, videos, and animations, to maintain relevance and accuracy
  • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the product configurator for the products and solutions you support.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop programs and campaigns that highlight the value of Bloom’s products and solutions.
  • Approve and edit marketing material as needed to accurately reflect Bloom’s products and solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • B.S. in electrical or mechanical engineering (or an equivalent degree) from an accredited university
  • 4+ years of experience in power electronics, thermal dynamics, or controls
  • 2+ years working in cross-functional roles, spanning engineering, product, Marketing, and business operations
  • 2+ leading the development of collateral, tools, or product support

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years in the energy industry, with an understanding of key technologies and market dynamics
  • 4+ years of experience in product management
  • Impeccable file organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Salary Ranges:

$96,800.00 - $139,200.00
