Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager (AVP) to lead complex, cross-functional product initiatives withinMiddle Office and Investment Accounting This roleis responsible fordriving delivery across multiple workstreams spanning Product, Engineering, and Operations, with a strong focus on governance, dependency management, and execution discipline.

The Project Manager acts as the central point of coordination for product development initiatives, ensuring alignment between business requirements, product strategy, and engineering delivery. The role combines hands-on execution with strong stakeholder engagement and delivery oversight.

Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

  • Own delivery of complex product and development initiatives from initial scoping through testing and release

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly defined and trackedacrossMiddle Office and Investment Accountingworkstreams

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations, to ensure aligned and on-track delivery

  • Drive issue resolution and risk mitigation, escalating where appropriate to maintain delivery timelines

  • Partner with engineering teams to align delivery timelines with product and client expectations

  • Drive planning and execution within Agile delivery frameworks, coordinating closely with scrum teams

  • Maintain traceability between business requirements, feature development, and release deliverables

  • Provide regular, concise project health updates to stakeholders

Governance & Execution Discipline

  • Lead project governance activities, including status reporting, milestone tracking, and structured stakeholder updates

  • Prepare and facilitate governance forums, ensuring clear visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies

  • Enforce delivery standards and project management best practices across workstreams

  • Drive corrective actions and interventions where delivery is off-track

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders on project status, risks, and key decisions

  • Build alignment across business, product, and technology stakeholders

  • Communicate complex project status clearly and concisely to management and executive audiences

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of project or program management experience within financial services

  • Strong understanding of investment management workflows, including middle- and back-office processes

  • Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in a structured development environment

  • Proven ability to manage dependencies and drive delivery across multi-workstream programs

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior and executive audiences

  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile or hybrid delivery models

  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence

  • Familiarity with product development lifecycle processes

Minimum Salary:

zł182 004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
