Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your validation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll provide technical support to Rolling Stock Reliability Growth activities through train investigations and data analysis. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (the team in Factory and Depot), provide technical support for troubleshooting to ensure the highest possible levels of train availability and reliability and much more.

You’ll specifically take care ofproviding support for technical activities on trains during commissioning, validation and warranty phases, but also act as the interface between workshop and factory teams throughout the warranty phase

We’ll look to you for:

  • Provide support for technical activities on trains during commissioning, validation and warranty phases.

  • Act as the interface between workshop and factory teams throughout the warranty phase.

  • Manage customer complaints related to rolling stock technical issues.

  • Provide technical support for field modifications and their implementation.

  • Contribute to Reliability Growth initiatives and Return of Experience activities.

  • Analyze train failure data logs to identify trends and root causes.

  • Check and analyze the relevant failure database (Maximo).

  • Ensure train configuration control and manage the associated technical documentation.

  • Ensure effective information flow within the depot and the project team.

  • Serve as the technical interface with suppliers, Alstom Participant Units and Engineering teams.

All about you

  • Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mecatronics, Embedded Systems Engineer or related.

  • 3–5 years of experience providing technical support, with expertise in mechanical or electrical/electronic systems.

  • Fluent English and Spanish.

  • Experience in field commissioning and validation

  • Ability to use electrical circuit tools

  • Availability to travel between different workshops in Barcelona.
