About the role
We’re looking for a technically strong and curious Investment Calculations Specialist to join our Product Integrity function. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, high‑quality off‑system investment calculations for our internal stakeholders, external clients and regulatory bodies. You’ll work closely with Operations, IT and Investment teams, acting as a subject matter expert while also helping us evolve and improve how we deliver calculation outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
- Performing complex off‑system investment calculations to support member enquiries, complaints and regulatory requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to fund business rules
- Partnering with Product Integrity Analysts, Operations and IT to manage calculation enquiries within agreed SLAs and support effective issue resolution
- Writing and executing SQL queries and using advanced Excel models to extract, analyse and reconstruct member account data
- Contributing to strategic quality initiatives, process improvements and innovation across off‑system calculators and integrations
- Providing subject matter expertise on investment‑related system changes, functional specifications, transitions and upgrades
- Supporting governance and risk obligations by ensuring policies, legislative requirements and operational integrity standards are consistently met
- Reviewing peer calculations and escalating unresolved or complex issues to the Operational Integrity Manager as required
What we’re looking for
- Experience in financial services, with exposure to superannuation and pension products highly regarded
- Strong technical capability, including advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL for data analysis
- Background in Finance, Accounting or IT, with the ability to translate complex data into accurate member outcomes
- A collaborative mindset with well‑developed written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification (IT, Accounting or Finance) and ASFA qualification or equivalent considered a strong advantage
