Your Key Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Coordinate all product management activities for board presentation and ensure implementation of agreed product programs.
  • Steer product management leaders across product groups to develop integrated business and marketing plans.
  • Ensure regular coordination across the full value chain, including R&D, Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain & Logistics, on design, distribution, and product specifications/changes.
  • Contribute to the development of product marketing strategy.
  • Monitor relevant product markets continuously, including:
  • Ensure aligned engineering and development standards for assigned products, product groups, and/or systems on a global or regional level.
  • Analyze technology standards for own products and identify portfolio optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct portfolio analyses and derive measures, programs, or projects for development, optimization, standardization, and alignment.
  • Monitor the efficiency and alignment of the project portfolio and guide internal stakeholders and external partners where needed.
  • Introduce baselines for market introduction and support the sales organization in advising customers on applications and use cases.
  • Secure technical support for internal client-facing organizations such as marketing, PMO, technical offices, and sales.

  • Define and align product management priorities within the assigned product group.
  • Approve or recommend product programs, portfolio measures, and alignment initiatives within the scope of responsibility.
  • Coordinate and steer cross-functional stakeholders across the value chain.
  • Set standards, guidelines, and methods for product management execution within the assigned scope.
  • Escalate strategic or operational issues to senior management when required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure business-close product management across the global division.
  • Align product strategy, portfolio decisions, and market requirements with business objectives.
  • Maintain effective coordination between product management and key functions such as R&D, Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain & Logistics.
  • Ensure timely preparation of product management inputs for board-level presentations.
  • Support the implementation of agreed product programs and monitor progress.
  • Ensure continuous market observation and competitive intelligence.
  • Contribute to portfolio optimization, standardization, and product development alignment.
  • Provide technical and strategic support to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Manage resources, budgets, and project-related activities within the assigned scope.

Qualifications

  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Education: Graduate degree in Engineering or a related technical/business field
  • Experience: 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in product management, engineering, or cross-functional leadership roles
  • Business and market acumen: Proven ability to understand external market factors and translate them into strategic decisions
  • Strategic and analytical capability: Strong decision-making skills supported by data analysis and portfolio evaluation
  • Leadership experience: Experience leading teams, coordinating stakeholders, and managing cross-functional collaboration
  • Financial and resource management: Ability to plan and control budgets, resources, and project portfolios
  • Communication skills: Strong professional communication skills for senior stakeholder management and board-level preparation
  • Process and industrialization knowledge: Understanding of product industrialization, support processes, and operational execution
  • Digital/data mindset: Basic to advanced understanding of data-driven working methods, digitalization, and AI-enabled process optimization
