Your responsibilities

• Operates independently, managing work priorities and technical decisions with minimal supervision.
• Ensures the process integrity and performance of centrifuge products across the full lifecycle.
• Delivers on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality engineering packages, including process calculations, performance predictions, and commissioning support.
• Drives standardization, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the centrifuge product line.
• Leads process-focused research and development projects aimed at improving centrifuge efficiency, throughput, reliability, and operational outcomes.
• Travels to customer sites and regional offices to support process troubleshooting, commissioning, performance audits, and sales engagements
• Supports operations in resolving manufacturing or performance-related process issues and advancing low‑cost sourcing or process simplification initiatives.
• Develops and maintains process design standards, operating guidelines, performance specifications, and quality control procedures for centrifuge products.
• Analyzes complex process challenges, developing new methods or optimization strategies to improve separation efficiency and machine performance.
• Reviews and approves engineering deliverables, including process flow diagrams, mass balances, performance models, and supporting data
• Interprets and validates customer process specifications, ensuring alignment with product capabilities and project deliverables.
• Performs and validates process calculations involving capacity, solids loading, moisture reduction, torque requirements, and other centrifuge‑specific parameters.
• Champions a culture of safety for individuals, teams, and all stakeholders impacted by operational activities.

What you bring

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering , Process Engineering, Mineral Processing, or a related discipline

Experience:

5–10 years of total experience in process engineering, with a minimum of 3+ years working directly with industrial centrifuges (e.g., basket, screen scroll, decanter) or other solid–liquid separation equipment.

Demonstrated expertise in New Product Development (NPD) or process‑focused R&D, including performance modelling, prototype testing, and field validation.

Strong proficiency in process analysis, performance modelling, and interpreting operational data to maintain and improve product performance.

Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites for commissioning, troubleshooting, audits, and support of sales and regional service teams
