POSITION INFO

The Product Evaluation Review Technician is responsible for conducting tests and analysis of returned customer products for failure investigations. This role will provide detailed testing results for assistance in production issues and/or providing information to be communicated to the customer regarding installation and application faults. The associate will interact with WHQ Engineering, Marketing, and Tech Services to communicate product return observations. Technician will also be utilized to assist with DARE Lab testing, as schedules permit. This associate will also be required to perform routine maintenance on test equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate using testing methodologies that are efficient, effective, and safe.
• Performs thorough analysis on product returns.
• Effectively communicate investigation results.
• Guarantees the accuracy of reported data.
• Maintain the records and physical samples in accordance to standard operating procedures.
• Investigate product issues and report findings to appropriate functions for action.

EXPERIENCE

Must have the ability to interpret general engineering drawings, technical procedures, and state/governmental regulations. Experience in analyzing product failures is desirable.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED required.

TRAINING AND SKILLS

Role requires effective measurement skills and ability to run testing equipment. The associate must be able to work independently. Candidates must have basic computer skills and SAP knowledge would be beneficial.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

This job requires the ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform strenuous activities.

Must be able to traverse work area and facility to operate and observe testing equipment.

Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.

Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.

Dexterity and accuracy as needed to operate testing equipment or gauges.
