Own the overall Roadmap planning exercise. Ensure that the roadmap vision is aligned and an execution plan is in place to ensure initiatives are planned, prioritized, released, and communicated effectively.
Integrate customer feedback, support data, and product usage signals into the prioritization process, using tooling where possible to reduce manual synthesis.
Plan, track, and measure Goals in R&D. Ensure goals are aligned with leadership, updated on a cadence, and risks are called out proactively.
Set up automated dashboards and alerting so risks and blockers surface between review cycles, not just during them.
Run horizontal initiatives to bridge process gaps. Identify gaps in the current ‘As-Is’ process, suggest corrective actions, and work with teams collaboratively to deploy them.
Ensure that product and engineering managers have the right tool stack and are using it efficiently. This includes evaluating new tools (including AI-powered developer tools), measuring their impact, and maintaining data hygiene across the stack.
Identify repeatable, high-effort operational processes and build lightweight automations to reduce overhead, using low-code tools, scripts, or AI-assisted workflows as appropriate.
Examples: automated release notes, sprint summary digests, meeting action-item tracking, intelligent routing of cross-functional requests.
Build and maintain internal knowledge systems that make it easy for teams to self-serve on process documentation, past decisions, and institutional knowledge.
Drive key meetings and events, including goal reviews, QBRs, and retrospectives.
Program manage key initiatives led by Product & Engineering leadership and provide visibility and progress updates.
Assist the leadership team in preparing presentations and documents for board meetings, leadership summits, and customer escalations.
Drive or assist in high-priority initiatives as defined in consultation with the COO and Product & Engineering leaders.
Assist in cross-team projects as required.
4–5 years of total experience in Consulting, Strategy and Operations, CEO/CPO office roles, or with a VC firm—with a track record of consistent, outstanding achievements.
Track record of working on complex, high-impact projects directly with engineering teams.
Has the drive to work in a hands-on operations and strategy role. Comfortable handling ambiguity, shifting gears when needed, and executing without the complete picture.
Ability to prototype automations and workflows independently—using low-code tools, AI assistants, or scripting—without needing to file an engineering ticket for every operational improvement.
Data fluency: Comfortable with SQL or BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Tableau) to self-serve on operational analytics rather than waiting on a data team.
Be a collaboration catalyst: Ability to create clarity when none exists, learn quickly, take initiative, drive complex projects, and get things done.
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively—both verbally and in writing—across stakeholders and C-level executives.
Strong demonstrated experience in establishing processes across the organization.
Familiarity with the software product development lifecycle and related processes.
Entrepreneurial mindset: Drives projects on a cadence through collaboration, not authority.
