Job Overview

The BCS sub-vertical within the Industrial Business Unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Product Engineer I focusing on cable assembly product support, engineering changes, product maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position will be responsible for supporting the released cable assembly product portfolio, collaborating with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and customers to ensure product integrity, cost optimization, and on-time implementation of engineering changes.

What your background should look like

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of engineering experience.
• Basic understanding of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, connectors, and electromechanical products.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• English proficiency required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support existing cable assembly products throughout their lifecycle.
• Review and implement engineering changes and documentation updates.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Support validation activities and qualification testing.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Maintain drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical records.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams.
• Support customer technical inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with TE and customer requirements.
