As a Product Engineer (m/f/d), you will specialize in the technical aspects of one of our measuring instruments and its accessories. In this role, you will be the go-to person for production, development, customer support, and product management regarding technical questions in and beyond serial production. • Managing serial products as part of technical product responsibility throughout the product lifecycle
• Acting as a liaison between production, development, customer support, and product management for technical questions and their implementation
• Transitioning new products into serial production, including related documentation for production
• Specifying, developing, and transitioning customer projects
• Monitoring manufacturing processes and continuously improving quality and cost efficiency
• Analyzing and implementing quality and process improvement measures

Qualifications

• Completed higher technical or scientific education (HTL, FH, TU/University), preferably in physics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, or related fields
• Initial relevant experience in this or a comparable position is required.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing technologies is an advantage
• Structured work approach, strong goal orientation, and high-quality standards
• Strong problem-solving skills in collaboration with various functional areas
• Distinct hands-on mentality
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in German, both spoken and written
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Passion for and enthusiasm about technical challenges

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 2.800 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
