The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the full lifecycle of user-facing product features, from shaping the design to releasing the finished work. This early-stage role suits an engineer with sound product judgment who works closely with company leadership in a small, high-ownership group.
What you'll do
- Take product features from concept through implementation and release, covering interaction design and code.
- Collect user feedback from community conversations and interviews, prioritize what matters and resolve issues directly.
- Assemble UI and UX components into polished, usable screens without a dedicated design engineer.
- Present finished work to colleagues and users, then refine it based on their reactions.
- Partner with company leadership on product direction, architecture and scope decisions.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- At least 1 year of professional engineering experience, not counting internships.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, including shipping production code.
- Experience launching new product capabilities from scratch and taking responsibility for every stage.
- Strong product sense, with the ability to decide what to ship and explain the reasoning.
- Comfort building complete product screens independently from UI and UX components.
- Able to work on-site five days a week, or willing to relocate.
Bonus points
- Big tech background combined with startup experience.
- Active use of AI tools and developer tooling in daily work.
- Familiarity with the company's product as a user.
- Portfolio of shipped product work available to review and discuss.

- Base salary: USD 160,000 to 300,000 per year
