Title: Product Engineer - 122758

Your Position:

Major Purpose

Performs basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.

Required

  • Technical skill and knowledge in a specialized area of engineering such as: design, analysis, test & evaluation.
  • Knowledge in design of sheet metal components, understanding of structural strength, metallic material, and heat treatment. Got basic knowledge of parts/machine validation and verification.
  • Skill in using company information systems and processes. - Performs complex functions, understands principles.
  • English communication includes both writing and oral.

Desired

  • Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product - Performs complex functions, understands principles. Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit. Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.
  • Understand in-house and out-source manufacture process of structure/sheet metal components, work experience along with fabrication line and suppliers

Education

  • Bachelor degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
