About the Role:
We’re looking for a Product Engineer who works at the intersection of product thinking, engineering craft, and agentic AI.
This isn’t about picking up tickets. It’s about shaping problems, testing ideas, building solutions, and measuring real impact.
You’ll help move our engineering organisation toward a modern product operating model, where discovery comes before delivery, evidence guides decisions, and outcomes matter more than output.
What you will do:
Own complex product problems end to end, from discovery and solution shaping through delivery, release, measurement, and iteration
Work with product, business, operations, and engineering stakeholders to understand problems, define success, and make informed trade-offs
Run discovery activities including research, technical spikes, prototypes, and assumption testing, with clear go or no-go recommendations
Influence backlog and roadmap decisions using evidence rather than simply delivering prioritised work
Design, build, test, and operate robust solutions across modern and legacy platforms using C#, ASP.NET Core, Vue, APIs, and supporting services
Use CI/CD practices in Azure DevOps to release safely, troubleshoot issues, and learn from production.
Apply and evolve the use of agentic tools such as Cursor, Claude, and similar technologies across discovery, development, and review
Build and validate agentic solutions and AI-assisted workflows, ensuring they deliver real value before scaling
Identify where agentic capabilities belong in customer-facing products, internal operations, or engineering workflows, and validate whether they create real value before scaling them
Collaborate with peers to raise the bar in discovery, outcome ownership, technical craft, and responsible AI-assisted development
Challenge feature-factory behaviours and help teams move toward sharper problem framing, smaller bets, and clearer evidence of impact
What makes you a strong fit:
3+ years’ experience in software development
Proven ability to own outcomes, not just deliver code
Comfortable working with ambiguity and shaping work early
Strong engineering fundamentals including C#, APIs, testing, CI/CD, and production support
Experience balancing speed of learning with production quality
Hands on experience using AI in your workflow, with an understanding of agentic systems beyond basic code generation
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders
A collaborative mindset with a focus on coaching, pairing, and shared learning
This isn't your typical engineering role:
This isn’t a traditional senior developer role where success is measured by implementing specifications and moving on to the next ticket.
It’s not a role where product discovery happens elsewhere and engineering begins only once the answers are fully formed.
And it’s not a role where AI is treated as a novelty, a shortcut, or a substitute for engineering judgement.
Instead, we’re looking for someone who brings together product curiosity, technical depth, and agentic leverage, and someone who helps teams learn faster, make better decisions, and consistently build higher-quality outcomes.
Technology and practices:
Our current environment includes:
The stack matters, but it is not the centre of the role. The centre of the role is using engineering to discover and deliver measurable product outcomes.
How you’ll drive better outcomes:
You’ll help define what great product engineering looks like in practice, raising the bar for problem framing, deepening discovery, shaping smaller, better-informed bets, improving delivery confidence, using AI with intent, and holding a high standard for post-release impact.
If you’re looking for a senior role that brings together product judgement, agentic experimentation, coaching, and real accountability for outcomes, this is that role.
Requirements:
12+ months’ experience developing commercial agentic workflow solutions
Understanding of product operating models is preferred
