What You Will Do
- Build and own product features across the full frontend stack, including user-facing interfaces and machine learning-adjacent tooling.
- Collaborate closely with machine learning researchers and engineers to translate complex workflows into intuitive product experiences.
- Architect and implement scalable frontend systems using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Contribute to product direction in a small team, influencing what gets built and how.
- Rapidly iterate on interfaces that present machine learning evaluation results, metrics, and insights to end users.
- Work collaboratively across frontend and machine learning engineering disciplines to deliver cohesive, integrated features.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 3 to 7 years of experience in product or frontend engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment with evolving requirements.
- Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership over product areas.
- Excitement about the intersection of machine learning and product development, with a curiosity about AI systems.
Preferred
- Experience working on small, high-output engineering teams where every contributor has a meaningful impact.
- Strong product sensibility and attention to detail in user experience and interface design.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ranges from $200,000 to $350,000 annually, depending on experience and scope. This role is onsite in San Francisco, CA, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
