Product Engineer

What You Will Do

• Own features end-to-end, from product definition and scoping through implementation, deployment, and iteration in production.
• Build and maintain consumer-facing web and mobile products that prioritize reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Develop clean, maintainable code using TypeScript and React on the frontend, and Python/PostgreSQL-backed APIs on the backend.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and AI teams to rapidly translate ideas into polished, production-ready features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction as a key member of the engineering team.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, ensuring systems are well-tested and maintainable in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate technical decisions effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2–6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer in a product-focused or full-stack role.
• Proven track record of shipping consumer-facing web or mobile products into production at scale.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with the ability to create polished, responsive user interfaces.
• Solid backend experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and REST or GraphQL API development.
• Demonstrated ability to own features from initial problem definition through iterative delivery, with a strong focus on user experience.

Preferred

• Experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
• Prior experience in an early-stage startup environment, showcasing versatility and the ability to ship products with a small team.
• Exposure to AI or ML teams, with experience integrating model-driven capabilities into product surfaces.

Compensation and Benefits
