Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1. To provide technical support and data analysis on product related issues and product improvements (Cost and Yield).
2. Handles new transceiver product transfers from NPI to mass volume production lifecycle, meeting all the necessary qualification guidelines and requirements.
3. Supports pilot manufacturing line in the assembly, testing and evaluation of new products and collaborates with R&D team and participate in the design, qualification, and implementation of new test processes.
4. Drives efforts in product re-engineering, cost reduction, yield improvement, quality and reliability improvement. Supports and initiates ECOs, BOM changes, test processes, procedures and specification modifications.
5. Conducts data analysis and statistics pertaining to product performance and quality improvement and provides technical support and analysis as needed.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Electronics/ Electrical, Communication, Applied Science in Physics, or its equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a mass production manufacturing domain.
• Experience working in PCBA, Semiconductor devices, IC fabrication manufacturing environment and Product Testing focusing on optical test instruments.
• Experience on New Product (NPI) qualifications and transfer is an advantage.

• Leadership capabilities and has strong data analytical skills and statistics pertaining to product performance and quality improvements.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to work with internal and external support groups.
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. and be able to adhere with effective working relationship.

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite and will be available as needed during critical support period.
