roduct Engineer to support our new product development process from initial design stages through to pilot run
. This role will work closely with our UK-based product development team and Vietnam-based production teams to ensure product safety, quality standards and manufacturing feasibility are maintained throughout the development cycle.

echnical R&D-focused role
that sits at the intersection of product design and manufacturing, representing the UK Product Team’s interests during the development phase and ensuring alignment between design intent and production capability. The successful candidate will work primarily on new product development rather than ongoing production operations.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Follow new product development from initial design stages through to pilot run, working as the
technical liaison between UK Design and Product teams and Vietnam production facilities
Identify and assess product risks related to safety, construction and manufacturing feasibility
during the development phase
Conduct comprehensive assessments during pilot runs, reviewing all processes from cutting through to packing for new developments only
Advise on any issues identified and provide the UK team with Corrective Action Plans, including recommendations for updates to visual guides and work instructions
Work with quality teams in factories to ensure compliance with international safety standards and address quality and construction issues that could create safety risks
Conduct factory-side audits focused on new product development processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
Collaborate with UK-based development teams, Vietnam-based production teams and quality control teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the product development cycle
