The Product Director at PGI is a strategic leadership role that sits at the intersection of product, sourcing, pricing, and operations This role is not just logistics — it is full ownership of the product lifecycle, ensuring that PGI maintains:

You will act as the “Product & Supply Owner”, aligning market demand, sourcing strategy, and operational execution to support PGI’s growth ambitions.
1-Market Intelligence & Pricing Strategy
Develop deep understanding of:
- Global raw material costs (origin-level)
-Market trends and volatility (spices, herbs, botanicals)
-US sellable price benchmarks and margin structures
-Work closely with Sales & Finance to:Support pricing strategy; Protect and improve gross marginsMaintain real-time visibility on cost vs. market pricing gaps
2-Demand Planning & Supply Alignment
Lead demand planning process in coordination with Sales and Operation team:
- Forecast based on pipeline, historical data, and growth targets
-Translate demand into Procurement plan
-Ensure supply readiness for: Key accounts & Strategic growth opportunities
3-Inventory Management & Optimization
Own end-to-end inventory strategy:
-Stock levels: Product velocity (fast/slow movers); Reorder points & safety stock
-Optimize working capital while maintaining service levels
-Ensure accurate ERP (Odoo) setup Product coding, Cost structures, Attributes (origin, certifications, specs)
4-Supplier Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers
-Lead: Supplier selection & evaluation; Negotiation (pricing, terms, capacity); Performance monitoring (quality, delivery, compliance)
-Develop strategic sourcing partnerships, especially for: Organic-certified ingredients; High-growth product categories
5-Product Ownership & Lifecycle Management
-Take full ownership of PGI’s product portfolio: From sourcing → processing → inventory → sales
-Maintain deep understanding of:
.Product specifications;
.Processing cycles (e.g., grinding, steam sterilization)
.Shelf life and quality parameters
-Identify opportunities for:
.New product development
.Value-added formats (TBC, powder, blends, etc.
6-Supply Chain Operations Leadership
Develop and lead the Supply Chain team, including: Logistics coordination, Order execution support
Oversee end-to-end flow: Purchase Orders → inbound logistics → warehouse → production → outbound
Ensure smooth coordination between: Suppliers - Operations / Production-Sales / Customer Service
7-New Product & Service Development
-Maintain pulse on:
.Market demand trends
.New ingredient opportunities
.Service expansion (e.g., sterilization, toll processing)
-Collaborate cross-functionally to:
.Launch new SKUs
.Expand PGI’s portfolio strategically

We purchase organic ingredients raw, process in-house in our facility in Northern Nevada and sell to food + beverage manufactures across the United State and Europe.
