Product Development Specialist | Finance

Fantastic opportunity for a Product Development Specialist to join an innovative and reputable financial services organisation who are going through significant growth.

The role will support the overall company objectives and will be responsible for the development of new products and new business opportunities for the business.

The Role

• Collaborate closely with the wider business teams to identify new product opportunities
• Drive the product development process from the idea generation to the launch in the market
• Own the product roadmap and fulfilment of the product vision
• Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
• Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision
• Produce and review product requirements documents
• Build relationships with external partners and internal business functions
• Manage and coordinate product development initiatives
• Lead multiple product development projects from concept through to launch
• Manage, maintain and review existing product ranges as well as assessing ongoing product strategy
• Provide regular updates with internal and external stakeholders

The Person

• 4+ years' experience in a similar product development role
• Ability to work with cross functional teams in the creation of products
• Proven experience in product lifecycle management
• Extensive experience of managing products from concept stage through to launch
• Strong influencing skills with a high level of resilience
• Natural communicator with the ability to effectively manage and influence key stakeholders
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines with minimal supervision
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
