We are seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of our next-generation AI-optimized modular data center products. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, while leading a cross-functional engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in mechanical and electrical design, team leadership, and a proven ability to deliver complex hardware products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of containerized modular data center systems optimized for high-density AI compute, including NVIDIA GPU platforms.
  • Translate high-level system requirements—covering power, thermal management, networking, redundancy, compliance, and safety—into detailed product specifications and development plans.
  • Manage the full product development lifecycle, including concept design, prototyping, testing, validation, and production ramp-up.
  • Direct and mentor a team of mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers; foster collaboration and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with customer and market needs.
  • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to optimize product performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Oversee the creation of comprehensive technical documentation, including engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), test plans, and certification support files.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and team capabilities to enhance efficiency and innovation.
  • Engage with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, align on roadmaps, and support product deployment.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in mechanical design using tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar; proficiency in FEA and CFD analysis.
  • Strong background in electrical system design and integration, preferably within data center, telecom, energy, or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing the full development cycle of complex hardware products—from concept through mass production.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural and geographically distributed teams is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of thermal management, structural design, power distribution, and compliance standards relevant to data center or critical infrastructure products.
  • Ability to work under pressure, respond to urgent requests outside regular hours when needed, and travel as required.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with containerized, modular, or mobile data center solutions.
  • Background in startups or greenfield product development environments, with comfort in high-autonomy settings.
  • Familiarity with AI compute hardware, high-density server architecture, and related industry trends.
