What you'll be doing:

Join Avon and play a key role in bringing innovative products to life. As a Product Development Expert, you will lead the journey from concept to pilot production, working closely with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, commercially viable solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise, project leadership, and stakeholder management to help accelerate new product delivery and support the growth of our external manufacturing business

You will lead end-to-end product development projects, transforming customer briefs into feasible, cost-effective, and manufacturing-ready solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify the right formulations and packaging, manage project timelines, assess risks, and ensure products are delivered from concept through pilot production. You will act as a key link between Product Development and Operations, providing clear recommendations, driving alignment across stakeholders, and helping to continuously improve development processes and speed to market

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinating new product development projects from initial brief through to pilot production.

• Collaborating with formulation and packaging suppliers to evaluate opportunities and source suitable solutions.

• Assessing technical feasibility and manufacturability of proposed products.

• Preparing project timelines, estimates, and risk assessments to support commercial proposals.

• Managing product trials, stability testing, compatibility reviews, and regulatory requirements.

• Working closely with R&D, Procurement, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams.

• Supporting process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market.

What we're looking for

• 5 + years’ experience in cross-functional project delivery, product development, supply chain, formulation development, technical project management, operations, or a related field

• Proven ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

• Strong project planning and prioritization skills with a focus on delivering results.

• Ability to identify risks, solve problems, and navigate challenges in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Confidence influencing and collaborating with others, even without direct authority.

• Strong attention to detail combined with a commercial and strategic mindset.

• Knowledge of new product development processes
