Your Job

Review and understand the customer requirements & specifications in new product development process. Participating as an active member in developing new products through the product life cycle

What You Will Do

  • Review Voice of customer, Understand the applications and requirements. Prepare TAR to capture VOC and Share Molex stand against the VOC
  • Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD (UG NX) programs. Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs
  • Define test methods to conduct physical test of concepts. Perform physical validation of concept using 3D print samples etc
  • Participate in Design Reviews, DFMEA, PFMEA, Design for Manufacturability
  • Prepare Bill of Materials, 2D, drawings for manufacturing, Work on samples development for customer approval and Prepare Product & Application specification
  • Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics. Ensure compliance with all Molex policies & procedures in all related areas
  • Understand, support and contribute to compliance with the PBM Philosophy, the different Quality Management standards in which the company is certified, in Safety and Hygiene, in environmental management systems, Six Sigma, RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) and CTPAT/OAS following the established policies and procedures
  • Perform related or complementary work related to their functions

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

· Bachelor’s Degree in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering

· 3+ years of experience in design and development engineering of wiring harness

· Good skills in NX, Pro E software

· Advanced English

· Ability to understand customer requirements and specifications
