Job Description

Job Details:

About the Role
We are looking for a Test Engineer to drive and optimize the testability and manufacturability of cutting‑edge integrated circuits from early feasibility all the way through high‑volume production. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping test methodologies for new products, partnering closely with design, DFx, product development, fab, assembly, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless post‑silicon ramp.

You will evaluate and debug new designs on ATE platforms, characterize devices, define datasheet specifications, and perform yield analysis to support successful product launch and continued performance optimization.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and enhance testability and manufacturability strategies for new silicon products.
  • Evaluate, debug, and validate complex test methods on ATE systems.
  • Collaborate with design and DFx teams to address functionality and performance issues and drive root‑cause resolution.
  • Perform device characterization and leverage data to define specifications and improve yield.
  • Contribute to DFT/DFD/DFM features enabling efficient production testing.
  • Develop and debug software tools for converting validation vectors and driving advanced test equipment.
  • Design, test, and validate hardware solutions for production and validation environments.
  • Analyze component performance vs. specifications to ensure robust manufacturability.
  • Lead test‑time reduction and cost‑optimization efforts through data‑driven analysis.
  • Support manufacturing readiness, ES build milestones, wafer start planning, product qualification strategy, and site certifications.
  • Partner with fab, assembly, and test teams to ensure smooth production ramp and address product issues as they arise.
  • Optimize product supply through postsilicon data analysis, bin‑split optimization, and downstream yield improvements

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or computer engineering
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Test Program development and ATE ( experience with Smartest is advantage)
  • Basic debugging skills and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Team‑oriented with solid communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Foundational understanding of data analysis.
  • Advantageous:
    • Experience with loadboard design
    • C++ programming background
    • Familiarity with JMP for statistical analysis
