Job Responsibilities/ 工作职责 :

Sr. Product Developer for Project Sequoia (Axon PC and Mobile)

Senior Software Product Manager – Cross-Platform PC & Mobile

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead product development and growth of cross-platform products spanning PC and mobile.

This role will own key parts of the product lifecycle—from identifying user needs and defining product strategy through roadmap development, launch, optimization, and monetization. The ideal candidate understands how user behavior, technical capabilities, and platform requirements differ across Windows, Android, and iOS, while creating a seamless and connected experience across devices.

You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Business Development, and external technology partners to build products that scale globally and deliver measurable user and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Translate defined strategy and business goals in the assigned products
  • Own product roadmap for cross-platform experiences across PC, Android, and iOS.
  • Identify opportunities to connect PC and mobile experiences into a cohesive product ecosystem.
  • Translate customer needs, market trends, platform capabilities, and business priorities into clear product requirements.
  • Prioritize product initiatives based on user impact, business value, technical complexity, and strategic importance.
  • Define short- and long-term product goals, success metrics, and measurable outcomes.

Cross-Platform Product Development

  • Lead the development of features and experiences that operate consistently across PC and mobile while accounting for platform-specific user behavior.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to define product requirements, user flows, technical dependencies, APIs, account systems, synchronization, and cross-device experiences.
  • Ensure product architecture and feature design support scalability across multiple platforms, markets, devices, and user segments.
  • Understand the differences between desktop and mobile product development, including distribution, permissions, performance, hardware capabilities, and platform policies.
  • Manage product requirements and releases across environments such as the Microsoft Store, Google Play, Apple App Store, and direct PC distribution channels.

Product Lifecycle & Execution

  • Lead products from concept through requirements, development, testing, launch, and continuous iteration.
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver products on schedule while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Manage dependencies, technical constraints, product risks, and changing business requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Establish structured beta programs, testing frameworks, phased rollouts, and post-launch optimization plans.

User Growth & Engagement

  • Analyze the complete user journey across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding, feature discovery, engagement, and cross-device adoption.
  • Develop strategies to encourage users to move naturally between PC and mobile experiences.
  • Partner with Growth, Marketing, and Data teams on user acquisition, lifecycle engagement, notifications, promotions, and experimentation.
  • Use product analytics, user research, A/B testing, and behavioral data to continuously improve the product experience.

Monetization

  • Develop and optimize monetization strategies across PC and mobile products.
  • Evaluate opportunities including subscriptions, premium features, digital content, marketplaces, advertising, in-app purchases, and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Understand platform economics, including app-store commissions, payment systems, pricing strategies, and regional monetization considerations.
  • Balance monetization objectives with long-term user engagement and product value.

Data & Product Performance

  • Define and track key product metrics including MAU, DAU, retention, engagement, conversion, ARPU, LTV, CAC, and revenue.
  • Build product performance frameworks and dashboards in partnership with Analytics teams.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to identify product opportunities and prioritize development.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends and evolving user expectations.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the central product owner across Engineering, UX/UI, Data, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Business Development, and executive stakeholders.
  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, trade-offs, and performance clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Influence teams across the organization without relying solely on direct reporting structures.
  • Work with external technology, platform, content, AI, and commercial partners where integrations can strengthen the product ecosystem.
  • Present product strategy, business cases, roadmap updates, and performance results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, preferably with consumer software, gaming, digital media, creator platforms, SaaS, or technology products.
  • Demonstrated experience launching and scaling products across PC and mobile platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the differences between Windows, Android, and iOS product ecosystems.
  • Experience owning major products or features through the complete product lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of product analytics, experimentation, user research, and data-driven product development.
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs and business objectives into clear product requirements.
  • Experience working directly with Engineering and Design teams in an Agile development environment.
  • Strong understanding of consumer product growth, engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Experience working with app stores, digital distribution platforms, APIs, cloud services, account systems, or cross-device synchronization.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with gaming, creator platforms, digital content, personalization, media, AI-powered products, or consumer software ecosystems.
  • Experience managing products with millions of users across multiple geographic markets.
  • Experience developing marketplaces, subscriptions, digital goods, or content monetization products.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Store, Google Play, Apple App Store, and direct-to-consumer PC software distribution.
  • Experience working with AI-powered product features, recommendation systems, content generation, or personalization.
  • Understanding of global product localization, privacy requirements, platform compliance, and regional product strategies.
  • Experience building connected ecosystems where users interact with the same product or service across multiple devices.

What Success Looks Like

The Senior Product Manager will successfully create a connected product ecosystem in which PC and mobile experiences reinforce one another rather than operating as independent products.

Success will be measured through improvements in:

  • Cross-platform adoption and account penetration
  • Monthly and daily active users
  • User activation and retention
  • Feature engagement
  • Mobile-to-PC and PC-to-mobile conversion
  • Product quality and release velocity
  • Monetization and revenue growth
  • Customer satisfaction and product-market fit

Language Proficiency

  • Native and/or professional level of English and Chinese (written and oral) is a must

The ideal candidate combines strong product judgment, technical understanding, commercial thinking, and customer empathy to build cross-platform products that users choose to engage with across multiple devices.
