We are seeking a Product Developer to manage the development of Denim, Leather, Basic Jersey, Soft Accessories, and Swimwear. The role guarantees product quality, sustainability compliance, PLM accuracy, supplier coordination, and budget management, with strong involvement in material research and innovation. Key Responsibilities

Product Development

  • Translate Design concepts into feasible, high-quality products.
  • Create/update tech packs, BOMs, and material specs.
  • Manage prototypes, fittings, corrections, and approvals.
  • Conduct feasibility checks on constructions and materials (denim, jersey, swimwear).
  • Oversee sample development, timelines, and industrialization.
  • Manage development budgets and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate print development for jersey (techniques, placements, approvals).
  • Supervise denim washes, finishing treatments, and their technical/quality implications.
  • Research new denim technologies, wash innovations, treatments, and sustainable solutions.

Material Sourcing & Research

  • Research and source new fabrics, washes, treatments, trims, prints, and sustainable alternatives.
  • Identify and engage suppliers specialized in denim innovation and jersey printing.

Supplier Management

  • Communicate with Italian and international suppliers (Italian required).
  • Request quotations, negotiate, and analyze cost breakdowns.
  • Monitor supplier performance: quality, sustainability, timing, costs.

Sustainability & Certifications

  • Ensure material compliance and manage sustainability documentation.
  • Collaborate on ESG goals and audits.

PLM Management

  • Update PLM daily with product, material, cost, certification, and proto data.
  • Guarantee accuracy and adherence to procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Fashion, Product Development, or similar.
  • Experience in luxury fashion product development.
  • Strong background in Denim (incl. washes & treatments management), Leather, Jersey (incl. prints), Soft Accessories, and Swimwear.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; strong technical documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in PLM, Excel, and basic graphic software.
  • Solid understanding of denim constructions, wash processes, and finishing techniques.
