We are an Engineering and Product Development Centre that conceives,designs, develops and productizes new technologies, products andservices for a more sustainable society.

We work to bridge the gap between cities, industry and universitiesaround major programmes of development and industrialization ofproducts and services, from Portugal, in high-tech sectors such asmobility, aeronautics and space.

This opportunity is for an Designer | UI/UX to join the geoSystemsBusiness Unit, you will drive the creation and evolution of user interfacesof products for Space, defining the look and the way users will interactwith the software.

What we expect from you?

• Must have strong capabilities for learning and applying newtechnologies in innovative and creative ways;
• Designing and maintaining scalable UI components and patterns inFigma.
• Partnering with developers to ensure seamless implementation oftokens, components, and guidelines.
• Critical thinking and deep understanding of modern web developmentpractices;
• You must be highly motivated to work in a dynamic team environment,alongside data scientists and software engineers, and have solidcommunication skills.

Qualificações

Qualifications:

• Degree or Master's degree in Digital Product Design or related areas;
• Capacity to foster a healthy, stimulating work environment thatfrequently harnesses teamwork;

Essential:

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems, reusablecomponents, and UI libraries.
• Knowledge of technical constraints and guidelines as they apply todesigning for digital platforms, including web, iOS, and Android.
• Understanding users, identifying their needs from evidence, andtranslating these into solutions.

Desirable (no excludable):

• Portfolio of design projects.
• Certifications or training in Product Design, UX/UI Design, DesignThinking, Service Design, UX (usability) or Research.

Personal Skills:

• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment;
• Structured, self-organized and collaborative way of working;
• Creativity and aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking;
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Decision making and team management.
