Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Product Design: Own the product design process from early customer discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity visual design, interactive prototyping, and developer handoff.
AI & Surveillance UX: Design workflows for natural language video search, custom AI alert setup, interactive camera walls, and incident deep-dive investigations.
Complex Enterprise Workflows: Streamline critical operations like multi-site security oversight, role-based access control, visitor management, and emergency response coordination.
Design System Ownership: Build, expand, and maintain Coram AI’s UI component library and design system in Figma to ensure speed, accessibility, and visual consistency across desktop and mobile.
Customer-Centric Research: Talk directly with security operators, IT directors, and facility leaders to understand workflows, iterate on user feedback, and validate design solutions.
Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate daily with PMs and front-end/AI engineers in a fast-paced, high-ship-velocity environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer, with a proven track record building complex B2B SaaS platforms, data-dense web applications, or AI tools.
Strong Portfolio: Clear case studies demonstrating end-to-end design execution, complex problem solving, high visual polish, and systemic UI thinking.
Figma & Design Systems Mastery: Expertise in component architecture, autolayout, prototyping, and design system governance.
Product Sense & Technical Curiosity: Ability to understand technical constraints surrounding live-video streams, real-time telemetry, and AI detection models to design viable, elegant solutions.
High Ownership Mindset: Thrives in early-to-growth stage environments; proactive, self-directed, and capable of executing independently with minimal guidance.
