Drive the strategic design vision for HP's digital experiences within your assigned Product Operating Model (POM) POD. As a Product Designer, you'll partner directly with Product Management to transform complex customer challenges into intuitive journeys that deliver measurable business results and exceptional customer outcomes.
About the Role:
As part of HP's new Product Operating Model, you'll lead design strategy for critical eCommerce experiences that help customers achieve their goals effectively. Your innovative approach will directly impact key business metrics including conversion rates, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities:
Partner with Product Management to define the design strategy that balances business goals with customer needs
Create holistic customer journeys that transform complex interactions into intuitive, guided experiences
Develop conceptual models and frameworks that drive innovation within yourPOD'sdomain
Lead research activities to validate concepts and gather insights that inform design decisions
Identify opportunities for disruptive innovation that can create competitive advantage
Mentor mid-weight designers by providing clear direction and constructive feedback
Collaborate acrossPODsto ensure cohesive end-to-end customer experiences
Advocate for design solutions that deliver measurable business impact
Key Deliverables:
Experience strategy documentation that connects design decisions to business outcomes
Customer journey maps and information architecture models that improve key metrics
Innovative conceptual frameworks that differentiate HP's customer experience
Research plans and synthesis that drives design decisions and business results
High-level prototypes that validate core concepts and potential ROI
Design direction documents that guide implementation of business-driving experiences
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in digital product design, with demonstrated strategic thinking
Portfolio showcasing complex digital experiences that delivered measurable business results
Experience leading innovation initiatives that created customer and business value
Proven ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes andKPIs
Experience mentoring other designers and providing effective feedback
Strong conceptual thinking and customer-centric problem-solving skills
Track record of driving innovation within established product ecosystems
