Job Description

Swiftly is the AI platform purpose-built for retail, serving retailers, wholesalers, and brands. Swiftly's AI agents unify data, automate workflows, and power the marketing that drives measurable business growth. Swiftly AI is built on the industry's largest proprietary retail dataset: live transactions, 9 million products, and the closed-loop campaign outcomes of 33,000 stores.

Trusted by leading retailers, wholesalers, and hundreds of iconic brands, Swiftly unifies data across the retail ecosystem to accelerate growth and power the connected, personalized experiences that drive lasting shopper loyalty.

Swiftly is looking for a Product Designer to shape the user experience and interface of Swiftly's product offerings. Day to day, that means wireframes and flows, high fidelity UI design, interactive prototypes, design systems, and component libraries, all built in close collaboration with product and engineering to ship intuitive, on brand experiences. This role will work within Swiftly's established brand standards to keep our product experience consistent across everything we ship. This is primarily a product design (UX/UI) role, with opportunities to support marketing design work in Figma.

This is a full-time contract role. We use Deel as the employer of record and contract.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design a wide range of product experiences, including user flows, wireframes, high fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes
  • Design and maintain a scalable Figma design system, including reusable components, shared libraries, and design tokens/variables for color, typography, and spacing
  • Translate product requirements and user needs into clear, usable, and visually polished interfaces
  • Prototype interactions and flows in Figma to communicate design intent and support usability testing
  • Apply the company's brand standards and help keep our product's visual identity consistent across all platforms
  • Keep design system and component libraries organized and up to date
  • Incorporate stakeholder, engineering, and user feedback into polished, production ready designs
  • Review designs for errors, accessibility, and quality before handoff
  • Create developer ready design files with clear specs and documentation
  • Maintain the design calendar, approval timelines, dev schedules, and deadlines to ensure timely execution and delivery of all requested work
  • Occasionally support marketing design tasks (decks, social, web graphics) in Figma as needed
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Required Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of professional product design (UX/UI) experience
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, interaction design, and clear visual communication
  • Ability to create designs congruent with brand standards and platform/system conventions
  • Proficient in Figma, including shared libraries, components, and auto layout, with a habit of building reusable, well structured files rather than one off work
  • Fluency in industry standard tools, including Figma (prototyping, design systems) and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Production experience building developer ready files and specs is a must, including clear handoff documentation (user flows, screen flows, UI specs)
  • Ability to balance long term projects against day to day requests
  • Strong attention to detail and a habit of quality control before delivery
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines
  • Drive to constantly learn and improve, keeping up with current design trends and tools
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI design tools (e.g., Claude Design, generative image tools, Figma AI features)
  • Marketing/graphic design experience, including ad creative, decks, and web graphics
  • Experience in retail, CPG, grocery, or retail media/adtech
  • Data visualization and infographic design, turning complex data into clear, on brand visuals for product interfaces and decks

    About Swiftly

Swiftly is the digital operating system for brick-and-mortar retail, helping retailers of all sizes modernize shopper engagement, unlock new revenue streams, and measure results with precision. From single-store independents to national chains, we deliver the enterprise-grade capabilities retailers need—without the enterprise-level complexity or cost.

Our platform unifies retail data, enables real-time shopper segmentation, powers omnichannel campaigns, and connects marketing activity to measurable in-store and online outcomes. Retailers use Swiftly to run their own retail media networks, deliver personalized offers, and close the loop on marketing ROI. CPG brands leverage Swiftly to reach the right shoppers at the right time—onsite, in-app, and across the open web—funding campaigns that drive trips, loyalty, and sales.

By combining powerful data infrastructure, self-serve campaign tools, and closed-loop analytics, Swiftly offers a faster, more flexible way to compete in today’s market. Customers can start with a single module or deploy the full stack, with plan tiers that scale from entry-level to enterprise. Launching campaigns and seeing results can happen in days, not quarters, and integration is designed to minimize IT lift.

Our mission is to level the playing field for retailers, giving them the tools to operate like digital-first media businesses and empowering brands to invest where they see proven return. As the market leader in closed-loop retail media for grocery and beyond, Swiftly is redefining how physical retail engages shoppers, measures performance, and drives growth.
