You'll be the design owner for the product — likely the first dedicated designer on the team. You'll work directly with the founders and engineers to shape how developers experience an AI-native testing platform.

What you'll do:

• Own product design end-to-end: research, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and design QA after it ships
• Design interfaces that make complex technical information (test coverage, code impact, AI-generated results) feel simple and trustworthy
• Prototype fast, put work in front of users and the team early, and iterate based on what you learn — we'd rather see three rough versions this week than one polished one next month
• Challenge our assumptions. You're not here to execute someone else's vision; you're here to bring your own point of view and defend it with reasoning
• Build the foundations of a design system as the product grows

Requirements

Who we're looking for

• product designer with a portfolio showing shipped work (B2B SaaS or developer tools is a strong plus, not a requirement)
• Fluent in Figma and comfortable prototyping at whatever fidelity the question demands
• Someone who thrives in ambiguity — we won't hand you a detailed spec, we'll hand you a problem
• Bias toward shipping: you'd rather learn from a live release than perfect a mockup
• Curious about AI products and willing to learn how developers actually work, even if you haven't designed for them before
• Strong communicator who can explain design decisions to engineers and push back when needed
