As a Product Design Manager, you will lead the Postcode Lottery Netherlands team of Product Designers, championing the craft and encouraging the personal development of your reports. As a design leader, you help foster a truly user-centered culture, ensure cross-team alignment, and drive adoption of group design processes. You contribute to group-level strategy, working closely with the Group Product Design Lead to embed design across teams, processes and roles within the Netherlands. You’ll combine leadership with hands-on design work, delivering direct value to our users for one of the product teams. As a Product Designer Manager, you’ll:
• Drive personal development of local Product Designers through regular check-ins, feedback, and goal setting.
• Support team members in applying best-practice methods, shared ways of working and experimenting with new tools and technologies.
• Identify and address local process or organisational blockers to support team performance.
• Help advance the craft and embed product design in the organisation and across product, research, and marketing.
• Deliver user-centric and innovative product designs by using insights, thorough exploration and aligning closely with key stakeholders.
You’d describe yourself as follows:
• Drives changes and process adoption through collaboration, creating good-will and ownership across designers and stakeholders.
• Has 8+ years of UX/Product Design experience with at least 2 years in leading a team of designers and mentoring individuals.
• A highly proficient designers, visually strong, proficient with Figma, Design Systems and prototyping.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaborative skills.
• A monthly salary indication between 6.200,- and 8.200,- based on a 40-hour week and flexible working hours.
