This is a hands-on role with real impact — you’ll be working directly with our product, portfolio development and technology teams on a high-visibility and impact initiative You’ll report to the Product Management Team and partner closely with the PIM project lead throughout the engagement. By the end of six months, your goal is a measurable improvement in attribute completeness and accuracy across the catalog, supported by a documented, repeatable process the team can carry forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Clean, standardize, and enrich product attributes in our PIM system across a catalog of 20,000+ SKUs spanning Fabric, Wallcovering, Trim, and Furniture, efficiently using batch tools and lookups to work efficiently at scale.
  • Review and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency against established rules and standards
  • Reconcile product data across source systems to identify and flag discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to source missing attributes and confirm data accuracy
  • Partner with the Portfolio Development, Design and Data teams to resolve data gaps and quality issues
  • Work within Excel-based taxonomy and classification templates to support data preparation and handoff

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills — comfortable working with large, structured datasets and confident with lookups (VLookup / XLookup), pivot tables, filtering, and deduplication
  • Exceptional attention to detail and genuine ownership and accountability for data accuracy
  • Ability to follow detailed process documentation and flag exceptions clearly
  • A pattern-spotter who notices when a rule is producing bad output and proposes a better approach
  • A self-starter who has good judgement about when to decide independently versus when to escalate
  • Strong intuition for what to batch-fix versus what needs a human eye, sustaining precision at volume
  • Enthusiasm for using AI tools to accelerate and improve repetitive data work
  • Clear, professional written communication
  • Interest in product data, eCommerce, or digital operations

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with PIM, ERP, or eCommerce platforms
  • Experience in home furnishings, luxury goods, or retail
  • Exposure to data entry, QA, or operations workflows

Why Join Us

You’ll own and execute the data foundation that the entire PIM launch depends on, work that is visible to leadership and directly shapes how customers experience our catalog. Along the way you’ll learn how product data flows through a real enterprise system and work side by side with cross-functional teams across technology, portfolio, and operations. F. Schumacher & Co. has led luxury home furnishings for over 130 years; this is a chance to leave a concrete mark on how we operate next.
