🌟 What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of a dynamic team to:
- Lead cost estimating and modeling for purchased parts, materials, and assemblies.
- Build and refine should-cost models to guide sourcing and engineering decisions.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities through data analysis and value engineering.
- Reverse engineer parts, components, and assemblies to analyze construction, materials, and cost drivers.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
- Support validation and qualification of new components.
Your insights will help Malibu Boats deliver quality and value, driving smarter decisions and continuous improvement.
💡 What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in cost analysis, reverse engineering, or value engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with cost modeling tools (e.g., aPriori, Facton).
- Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
