At Maersk, we are rethinking how energy is traded, managed and consumed across our global operations. Maersk Oil Trading manages an expanding portfolio of marine fuels, distillates, crude, and emerging low-carbon alternatives such as methanol, LNG and biofuels, traded across Copenhagen, Singapore and the Americas.
The Product Control team is the custodian of traded P&L, providing transparency over trading economics, market exposures and performance drivers. We are looking for a Product Controller to join our Copenhagen team and take ownership of a range of activities spanning daily P&L, valuations, exposure reporting and business partnering with the trading desks.
This role is ideal for someone with a a couple of years’ foundation in Product Control, Market Risk or a similar trading support function who is ready to deepen their expertise in commodity trading.
You will join a highly experienced team, gain direct exposure to physical and derivative trading, and have the opportunity to broaden across products, regions and a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
** While experience within energy markets is advantageous, we are equally interested in candidates from other commodity sectors or trading environments who bring strong technical fundamentals, curiosity and a desire to learn
