SCOPE:
The Product Compliance & Certification Manager will lead regulatory compliance, certification strategy, and external quality assurance activities across Data Center & Energy Management-related products under Mitsubishi Heavy Industries product lines in North America. This role is responsible for ensuring all products, systems, and solutions comply with applicable North American regulatory, certification, and code requirements, while maintaining full alignment with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.'s QA/QC processes and procedures. The Product Compliance & Certification Manager will act as the primary interface with certification bodies, regulatory authorities, and customers on compliance-related matters, while coordinating internally with engineering, QA/QC teams, and program management to ensure timely and successful certification and market entry. This position collaborates with global stakeholders across Japan and the U.S. to align priorities, enable effective execution, and support MHIA’s long-term business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have at least twelve (12) years of experience in regulatory compliance, certification, QA/QC, or engineering within industrial, energy, or data center-related industries.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
o Experience in data center infrastructure, power generation systems, or mission-critical facilities
o Familiarity with environmental and emissions regulations
o Experience supporting product certification for modular or packaged systems
o Experience in global organizations and cross-cultural collaboration (Japan–U.S. experience preferred)
o Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (CAPA, FMEA, etc.)
o Certification or training related to regulatory compliance or quality systems
