As our portfolio shifts toward cloud-hosted, AI-enabled, and data-driven digital health solutions, Data management and AI must be engineered into every layer – from medical device software to multi-tenant cloud platforms and the data pipelines that connect them.
We are looking for a Senior Expert who unites three dimensions in one profile: digital product software (software development of regulated medical software and SaaS platforms), data platforms(managing sensitive health data end-to-end), and AI (include AI in our SaaS platforms and digital services). You will act as a trusted advisor to development teams, product management, and R&D leadership, and as the owner of the architecture for AI and data platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, reliable, and business-aligned solutions that enable advanced analytics, machine learning, generative AI, and data driven design making for our digital and cloud portfolio.
AI & Data Architecture Strategy
• Define the long-term AI and data platform roadmap for one or more product lines and digital solutions
• Establish architecture standards, principles, and best practices and align AI and data initiatives with business objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
Data Platform Architecture
• Design enterprise-scale data platforms, include data lakes, data warehouses and lakehouses
• Define data ingestion, processing, storage and serving architectures
• Ensure scalability, product security, performance, reliability and cost efficiency and drive cloud-native data platform adoption.
AI/ML and Generative AI architecture
• Lead AI solution architectural initiatives from experimentation to production
• Define the AI development lifecycle and provide expertise to different product teams
Leadership & collaboration
• Coach and mentor development teams, security champions, and architects across locations, raising the security competence of the organization.
• Collaborate with digital functions across sites, product management, and R&D leadership up to business-line level to align strategy, standards, and investment priorities.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification is a plus.
• 12+ years of overall experience in software/product development, with at least 6–8 years across enterprise-wide technical strategy, data engineering , AI platform architecture , and cloud/digital- native solutions – preferably in medical devices, healthcare IT, or other regulated industries.
• Experience in designing & developing digital and medical solutions in Invitro diagnostics is a MUST
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with data pipelines , AI, machine learning, analytics and data platforms. Deep expertise in designing enterprise data platforms, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, Delta lake and related ecosystems. Experience with data governance, lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience designing and deploying machine learning platforms and production AI systems with strong understanding of MLOps and model lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating predictive analytics and machine learning into enterprise products
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Containerization, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering principles.
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments and collaborating with distributed, cross-functional R&D teams.
• You combine deep technical expertise with the ability to communicate risk in business terms to senior stakeholders, including R&D and business leadership.
• You are a pragmatic, results-driven leader who can balance rigor with product delivery timelines.
• You have a passion for mentoring and building a digital -first engineering culture.
